Aye he was crap last week and immense today playing the same role, little bit hard to explain but whatever, fully deserved man of the match.
He was dreadful last week but he's come back to the team and given everything. In my opinion we wouldn't have won that game if he wasn't in the team.
FFS is this not why the likes of him are at clubs like ours. They live and die for the shirt regardless of their shortcomings. He may not be the most gifted of players but if you could combine him and Kirchoff in one what would we have on our hands.
Must admit I slated him for his recent performances but he certainly made up for it today.
NASTY BOY.....learn to shurrup like me, i bit my tongue sometimes to stop me making a tit of mesell
He has his limitations but what he lacks in skill he makes up for in effort and enthusiasm. Today I though he was well controlled and determined to get the job done. A grade E for skill, but A+ for effort and leadership.
Cattermole had a better game than he has of late, but I still wouldn't describe his performance as anything special..He worked hard and didn't give the ball away as much as he has of late...
He was very good today as was Vito, they have set a standard they must maintain to see us safe, its just a pity he and his colleagues keep putting us in this situation on an annual basis, but well done the whole team today, keep it up lads and we may yet see another miracle.
He's suited to a relegation scrapper for sure because like a few have said he will give everything and players like that will always have fans backing them. Nobody should be criticising the guy today because he showed the sort of application needed to win them battles down at the bottom. The aim however, is to get away from that pit you find yourselves in and until he's replaced with somebody creative I don't think you will get away from it. It's not just him but he's been a constant.
For the first time, ever I agree with Tel. I love Catts but Kirchoff is the real deal. This guy breaks up play and can pass the killer ball (as per our second goal). There is always room in today's,modern squad for a player like Catts, come the hour come the man and today that man was Catts, by a country mile.
