That is probably why Luke Dowling, John Keeley, and now Chris Neville are all leaving to join Michael Appleton at Blackburn Rovers, dev.

Who knows, MA may well come back in for Barry Harris - the oldest "ball boy" in the world. He could serve out the Venky's chicken pies at half time.

Chicken pies ??????? - Cue a move by MA for Rickie "The Piemaster" Lambert from under the nose of their new non-English speaking manager.

"Ho ate all ze pieees ?" <laugh>

That would show some solidarity wouldn't it........it has to be asked just how much are they getting on the back of our very slow and, it sadly appears, imminent demise. I am beginning to think finally that we should be put out of our misery and start again...this is becoming more painful to witness by the day....I'm trying to keep the faith but the endless grey skies currently seen across my part of the world are making feelings of optimism very hard to muster. Seriously, what are PFK owed? Last I heard it was about 1.6 million, let's say it's gone up to 1.7 million. 10% of that is £170,000 which could probably pay for the wages of 10 (maybe more) admin staff for a year. Likewise, let's go for the staff being on an average of £20k a year. So they would receive a pay cut of £2,000. Thus with the amount of money that would be kept if PFK took a 10% cut, that would mean 85 members of staff (most of whom are probably not on a lot of money anyway) would not have to take a 10% salary cut. I'm sorry but value for money PFK is not.

Maybe we'll get to see MA model chicken for Venky's in this year's advert for the company!

Last year's was truly awful ..

Anyway, I hate Blackburn now after the way they treated Henning Berg .. <grr>

Sadly mate.......it is quite often the way......that administrators take the lions share, its something I have never understood! They should work on a fixed fee, a % of the money recouped for the creditors. At a reported 1.6m that takes care of 45% of the PST pledges.....before we get started!
