The Real AVB has now stood up and Spurs, a side under Jol/Redknapp remowned for its attacking flair has reverted to AVB type and created seemingly nothing against Liverpools kids.

It's only pre-season and little/if anything can be truly read into it but you can sure as hell bet this will happen to them mid season and AVB will be found out for the fraud he really is. He talks a good game to be fair and almost had be convinced at one stage, more fitting of an Oscar than a managerial accolade.

Those that genuinely blamed the senior players for his exit will be proven wrong soon enough

I don't know. The more I see the more I think Porto was a one off. Seems like he'll not go down well, but he may prove everyone wrong. We'll see.

True, but he is laughably arrogant, and tactically not that flexible (atleast not with us). Hope he finds something that suits spurs.

Liverpool's kids? Carragher, Skrtel, Adam, Lucas, Downing, Henderson, Gerrard, Cole, Borini and Carroll all played. As you rightly say though, pre season is relatively unimportant otherwise you guys would no doubt be worried about losing the otherday.

We have no strikers at the moment - Defoe flew home for family reasons - all we've got is Kane who's yet to break into the first team.

If Adebayor wasn't such a greedy so and so we'd have signed him - can't see him signing now (and yes I know of his charity work in Togo but asking for the £5m transfer fee to be paid direct to him to recompense his reduced wages at Spurs is ridiculous).

Oh and apparently Adam had another really bad tackle on Bale - 3rd time now I think!

Unfortunately we'll continue to struggle until Modric is sold.

It wasn't a tackle he just cynically kicked out Bale as he passed him and caught him on the ankle, forcing him to eventually go off.

You can tell he has a massive ego and is arrogant beyond belief. The only reason he's come back to England is to try & rub our faces in it. he could've took a cushy little job in Spain or Italy for a year or two but he just wants to try & put one over on us - BAD MOVE!!!!!!!!!

One day AVB will get it right . He was too young and inexperienced in the PL to get on a roll at Chelsea , but he will have learned a few lessons! He'll do better at 3 pt Lane but not without lots of drama along the way! If Levy allows him the benefit of non interference ove the next 3 years, I reckon we could see the new Saffa in the making!

It was unecessary..But not the 'horror tackle' you keep making it out to be....Think you should watch the game before making such comments..Adams an idiot, but it was the kind of tackle that happens twenty times a game

We have had to put up with all the small club jibes of being a small club from Spurs fans as they have finished above us the last couple of seasons, but the stadium was red...The only white shirts I saw were Liverpool away kits..lol.

We have hads two draws and a loss on tour, but its been high quality fixtures and we have been playing kids, many of who have looked pretty good, DOnt think we are going to set the prem alight, especially with City so strong, your additions and Uniteds consistancy. But if we can perform at our best i do believe that Tottenham and Arsenal are there for the taking and fourth is not an impossibility, (but by no means a certainty..I wouls settle for a good record at Anfield and always beating the sides that we should do.

In the first half Tottenham were playing an extremely high line and i was wishing we had Sterling on as he would have been able to take advantage..2nd half when he came on they did seem a bit deeper.

Really? I haven't seen any "small club" taunts aimed at Liverpool(apart from maybe HIAG), we mainly laugh at you lot because we keep getting told how you're going to beat us, you're better than us and bla, bla. Case in point: "i do believe that Tottenham and Arsenal are there for the taking and fourth is not an impossibility".

As for who gets the most fans in America, tell someone who cares. CPofL seems to take a lot of pride in attendances for friendlies across the Atlantic so get in touch with him, maybe?
