    As my Christmas holiday is about to be w***ed away on relations I really don't care for, bosses I really don't care for, and alcohol which doesn't really care for me, I must extend season's tidings to you all a tad early. It's not the only thing that'll be coming premature, Hacky assures me...

    I wish you wonderful lads and lasses, and all your families, a very merry and happy Christmas, and a ravenously slutty new year <ok> Unfortunately Santa's pointed out to me the mathematical impossibility of Sunderland being relegated by Christmas, so hopefully you had a back-up option!

    It's without doubt a great pleasure of mine to read, agree and vehemently disagree with your opinions, so I hope you keep safe enough to continue typing long into this football season and the many after... so waist down damage only guys (ooh back to Hacky again) <ok>

    Let's hope the Toon keep going strong!
