Thought we could do with a break from last night. What's your favourite Monty Python sketch? Mines the four Yorkshireman.
Beat me to it! Apart from the odd timeless one like this though, I do think a lot of Python sketches are starting to show their age. The Ministry of Funny Walks sketch is just not funny at all
Although some bits of Monty Python were groundbreaking at the time, I can see why older people were stumped at the time. I always felt like this when alternative comedy was big i.e. it was the alternative to funny. I do like the football sketch though. Do any of you remember Michael Bentine's Square World with their sandpit puppets. Showing my age there.
I still say Socrates was offside! Classic stuff. This is one of my favourites:
Black knight or "I'm not the messiah" not sketches as such but I love them. If I had to say a sketch gotta be the dead parrot.
I absolutely hat that sketch. It touches too many raw nerves. For me it will always be "Is this the room for an argument?"
I just remembered this one. "Caribou gorn!"
On a different note, try to watch this without looking at her boobs. It can't be done.
Sorry. Pavlovian response. New thread; funny; nowt to do with Saints; posted by a bored worker = Lamballana This is a general truth, but on this occasion it was bollocks.
