AJ ran his socks off today, pulling the Wolves defence all over the place. He deserved a goal. Pavel Pogrebnyak will get the plaudits today, but AJ was a notable mention as part of an overall good team performance and it was good to see that he was well appreciated by the crowd today for the shift he put in.

A few people have been looking to offload AJ all season. I'll be happy for him to stay.

when AJ plays like that we all want him to stay. Today looked very sharp. Unlucky his shot hit the bar as that was the least he deserved.

Have to agree Gera, he was fantastic today. I cannot tell if he is working hard to earn an new contract or if he is simply enjoying playing in a team that is growing as a unit. His energy and tireless running helps create the space for the of the attack to move in. Should also point out that Duffer looked as hard working today as well.

Johnson was quietly my man of the match ... best of all he seemed genuinely happy out there though Pog and Demps lit up to the scoreboard.

DR - I agree. Plus Pog was quick to give credit and thanks to AJ for creating the 2nd goal. Hopefully a great new strike partnership in the making!

Aj has always played best as a part of partnership - when Bobby was in form and both were fit that was a good partnership.

What we have now is such a fluid attack all over the front - AJ, Pog Deuce, Duffer, Dembele, Riise - all running at a defence from different positions -using the wings and the middle interchangeably (apart from Riise) - has to be a threat.
