    Good luck Bony.

The goals are coming for Gomis.

Wilfried Bony has played down reports linking him with a January transfer to one of Swansea City's Premier League rivals.

The Ivory Coast international, who departed for the Africa Cup of Nations following Swansea's 1-1 draw with QPR on Thursday, has been touted as a potential target for the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea this month.

However, Bony - Swansea's record signing when he arrived for £12million from Vitesse in 2013 - says there are no plans afoot to make his Liberty Stadium exit.

"No, I just know that this is football," he told Swans TV. "If something happens, we can deal with that, but for now I'm just focusing on the Africa Cup of Nations."

Team-mate Ki Sung-yueng, meanwhile, has urged the club to do all they can to hang on to Bony - the Premier League's top scorer for 2014.

"He's a massive weapon for our team," he said. "Besides scoring goals, he can hold the ball, he can pass the ball and he can lift the team.

"So hopefully he will want to stay until the end of the season.

"Clubs are interested in him because he's a good player, he's a top player in the league.

"I hope he stays to help us go forward more in the table."

Bony assured that his intention was to return to Swansea following the tournament and is confident this team-mates can improve their position in the top half during his absence.

"I hope [they will do] well," he added. "I wish them the best for the new year and hope to see them in a better position than now [when I get back]."

Ki is also set to miss a run of matches for Swansea as he joins up with South Korea at the Asian Cup and the midfielder is reluctant to leave the club at such an important stage of the season.

"This period is very crucial for our team, but I have to leave for the national team, so I feel sorry for the boys and the manager," he said. "I think the boys will handle it well and when I come back I'll do my 100 per cent best for the team.

"Good luck to the boys, I just feel sorry about leaving."

Here's praying they get KO'd at the first stage and stay injury free <ok>

We play WHU, Southampton and Chelsea in their absence. Good fixtures for them to be missing in my opinion. Could have been worse and they miss games against teams in the bottom half of the table

Not sure about that , two games at home so I'd like to think we'd get a result against West Spam and perhaps a draw against both Chelsea and Southampton, but I understand your thinking

Bony is as honest as the day is long and I believe him when he says he intends coming back - I'm no so convinced we aren't alerting clubs to his availability.

As worrying as it is to lose Bony for January Ki is as big a loss IMHO. Kissy did nothing until Bony came on and then he was quite brilliant and provided the assist.
Some battling performances after the 70th minute with everyone making a good contribution.

I think that when Bony and Ki are away we have to play Emnes behind Gomis and ask Siggy to drop back to DCM for the duration.

As much as I dislike Andy Carroll he will pull our back four all over the field.

    Dyer , Britton , Siggy , Barrow
    Emnes
    Gomis
Bring Carroll on for Britton if he tires
Good luck to Bony and Ki , hope they both win their respective competitions.
Could never hope for anything less for our players when they play for their Home Country.

After what I saw today ... I'd make Dyer watch from the bench or send him out to a local park to practice his crossing and shooting with some local kids. Same with Routs, but he took care of "suspending" himself. I presume he will get three games for a straight red - is there any chance of him being available for Sat through appeal.

    Fab ,
Rangel , Fern , Williams Taylor
    Emnes, Britton , Carroll, Barrow

That was nearly 3 months ago. Since then, he, along with Routledge have been crap Dai.

I don't think being in and out of the team has helped him TBF.
I'm convinced rotation for the sake of it is causing more problems than it is intended to overcome.
