Lets look at the positives first.

    Pugh had a good game.

    We never gave up.

McCormack is the divisions top scorer.

    Lonaghan looks class.

    Negatives

We played into Brightons hands. We gave away countless free kicks in dangerous areas (and nearly gave away a pen just before half time).

We were not great at defending against any set pieces

We are conceding over two goals a game.

    We cannot defend.

Although Pugh looked good, was he much better then Nunez or Sam?

WHY CANT WE SIGN A CENTRE BACK AND A RIGHT BACK

    We can't defend
We can't take throw ins and actually get the ball to our own players

Lonergan can't take a goal kick that is for sure, punt up field and Brighton gained possession 9/10

What I used to notice about Ankregan was that his goal kicks always went to the opposition. What I saw tonight was Ankregan feeding his lb / rb in the corner of the field and feeding the ball upfield keeping hold of possesssion

We should have done more of that, strange thing is for all our crap defending, the back four can pass the ball around comfortably. I am a little bewildered at the Pugh signing, I assumed he would start LB and White push to LM but they started the other way around. If Grayson feels Pugh is a direct replacement for Gradel... Oh dear.

pugh was obviously meant to provide more cover to white which he did. nothing he can do about the CBs being truly awful.

The ironic thing is the one time Ankergren didn't roll it out to one of his defenders was in the 92nd minute when he punted it downfield straight to Lonergan who then launched it straight back onto Becchio's head & we ended up equalising. If Casper had done what he'd been doing all game we'd have lost.

And Schmeichel had the same problem... the only constant is the TRAINING

Bromby was ****. If we had a proper leader at centre back, those goals wouldn't have been conceded. If we had the money, we'd have bought such a player. BATES OUT. Diagrace that we didn't pick up three points after being 2-0 up. So, so, so pissed off.

at 2-0 up I thought "right, this is it. This is what I've been waiting for for ages, a proper, full on stuffing of some lesser team that shows everyone Leeds are right ****ing here. Clean sheet included free". But no, how very wrong I was. Scraping a point in the last pissing minute. Bates out, starting to think Grayson out too. I'm convinced the training is at fault and Grayson's in charge of the backroom staff.

At 2-0 up I thought we'd end up drawing or losing because Grayson had settled for it and we were just inviting Brighton onto us.

The players were working hard at that point and Bromby hadn't had the opportunity to be ****.

The quality attackers of Brighton were invited onto our poor defenders by Simon Grayson.

I thought you said before that bromby was by far our best CB and he should start every match?

Both O'Dea and bromby shouldnt deserve to wear that shirt again on that performance! O'Dea is an issue and shouldn't be in that back four. Get Lees & Kissa in at the back and put connolly at right back. Simple solution

Never thought we would win the game, even at 2-0, it had Brighton coming back at us and getting something written all over it. I knew we would score at the end to get an equaliser, just as I did when we played West Ham, there's just something about the way the game is played that gives you these feelings.

I winced when I saw Pugh on the left and not LB. The thing is, we had 20 min spell in the first half where we scored twice. Brighton could have scored three in the first half, but didn't, kept going, we couldn't keep them away from the goal and they did score three in the second half. We were lucky to get a point. Its all about dominating midfield so you control possession, creating more chances than the opposition. Our midfield just doesn't work well enough.

Lets stop getting at Simon no one else could achieve what he has done on a budget which wouldn't feed Ridsdale' s GOLDFISH What other manager would in his right mind come and work with BATES
