Back in 2008, former Oldham midfielder Ernie Cooksey passed away at the age of 28 after a long battle with skin cancer. Following his death, a group of Oldham fans had a flag made in his honour which we take to the vast majority of Oldham and England games. Whenever we visit a new ground with the flag we put a review of the trip on our website. The review is lighthearted and focuses on the day (or weekend on this occasion) rather than the match.
