Lawrenson points out that players can be better off financially by moving clubs a lot and the bit about goal bonuses just proves why some strikers seem to be greedy in front of goal instead of making the right pass. It just goes to show that a contract, and the clauses etc contained within, can actually affect how a player plays.
Of course, the other people who make money when players move are agents. Although I can't believe they would advise players to move, just to make a bit of money for their agents...
