An honest tribute to Paul Scholes

So many have named Scholes as one of the most talented and the most difficult players to play against, including Zidane

Now another of the great midfield players has added his praise

We offered him the chance to fulfill his only real dream.

 

Would have been pretty awesome to have seen Xavi and Scholes in United's midfield.

 

What does he know about what makes a quality midfielder?

 

Probably about as much as Tiger Woods knows about what makes a good golfer. Or Roger Federer about what makes a good tennis player.

This experience thing is so overrated...

 

I hear he has played with and against quite a few of them (there are even rumours that he could play a bit himself) but never having seen or heard of him i can`t pass judgement.

 

Madinet, I have no idea who you are referring to, Scholes or Xavi. But if you havn't heard of either, how are things these days in the monastery?
