This is not a Wum, This is an honest question.

I know that as Colchester fans your opinion of Paul Lambert was damaged greatly (and quite understandably) over the whole move to Norwich saga. But, with you non emotional hat on, if Lambert had stayed with you where do you think Col U would be in terms of league status now?

    a) He'd have done for you exactly what he did at Norwich and you would now be playing Premier League football.

    b) You'd have got out of league 1 but not promoted from the Championship

    c) You'd have got promoted from league 1 but then relegated again meaning you were now back in League 1

    d) you'd have remained in League 1 just as you are now.

I know it is impossible to tell for certain, but what does your honest opinion say? Did his departure really make much difference?

Foggy, (A) out of the question.
    (B) a more likely scenario.
    (C) think had he got us promoted, and stayed, we would now be a middle posistion championship side.
    (D) had he stayed, the only way was up.

Though he left under a cloud, i'm sure most ColU supporters are impressed with his achievments at City and wish him well.
Personally i dont think it was the way he left that upset our fans but the silly postings on the old 606 from City fans who could see no wrong in your board of directors attitude that they had done no wrong, even after the FA ruling, silly remarks about Robbie Cowling did'nt help.

Anyway it's all water under the bridge, so good luck back in the Prem, have a good season, yours is the second result i will watch out for.

I don't think you could put all of the feelings at the time down to 606. not THAT many people used to read it. :)

As you say, water under the bridge.

Trust there is good news about your lad who got hurt last night? Saw it on the Anglia news. They didn't show the incident itself, but the aftermath looked pretty nasty.

we'd be a mid table championship club.. it depends on whether Cowling would have let him keep spending and what he'd have spent it on
