I see that Watford continue to take in freebies from Italian Club Udinese........four more players transferred on Friday......will they rename the Club soon.....and call it Udinese Reserves. Maybe the hot weather fooled them in thinking that they were still in Italy ? Who would you like to see take over Argyle from abroad and ship-in there reserve players........Real Madrid,Barcelona,Juventus,AC Milan,Baghdad.Tehran,Cairo,Abu-Dabi,Shanghai or even Ulan Bator (*****lia). Torquay,Exeter and Truro not considered...although Yeovil might be trying to !
I don't agree with this feeder club thing. One club owners is enough without all of this happening because it is so unfair on others. Loanees that barely cost you anything gives you masses to spend on real signing which other clubs would have to fund in total. I thought the FA were going to put a stop to it but obviously not.
I think the European employment rules make it difficult to stop. PSG or one of the Russian rich clubs would do me fine maybe we could scrape to safety a few weeks earlier than usual.
I would rather fail than be the training dustbin for somebody else. We are a club in our own right and have been for a very long time and not somebody else's second fiddle.
I am more in the sell my soul (if I can find it) to the Devil camp. At this level we would not find ourselves a decent mother club but when we were in the Championship I would happily take the Watford route if it meant competing or even survival. It is not a level playing field with the parachute payments so any means necessary as long as it is technically legal.
