He was a bloody good keeper for us & kept us in the play-off final against Swindon when we were busy stinking the joint out. Also remember a penalty save in a 2-1 win at Port Vale in one of our regular promotion (& subsequent relegation!) seasons. Apart from the drop against Wednesday in the cup he was very solid indeed.
Very good keeper. Interesting that he is the only keeper to have played twice at Wembley, although Jimmy monty would have if we had played in the charity shield, I never found out why we did not play either. Did Tony not play in the Mercantile competition around 1988 ? that was at Wembley?
