I have sent Lardi a longer PM but this is just a shorter post.

I obviously had a falling out with Lardi over some recent posts and although we both strongly believe that our viewpoint is correct, it is I who have made a mistake.

I allowed annoyance and some anger to influence what I posted and I wish to apologise for doing so. That should never be acceptable and it isn’t right. I am disappointed with myself for allowing that to happen.

I apologise for posting in the way that I did.

I'm not sure where the fall out was, but either way, it says a lot about somebody who can apologise.

I too allowed my replies during our recent argument to become personally abusive.
The fault is equally mine, and I am unreservedly sorry for that.

Words are the only weapon and the only defence that politicians have. It is by words that they stand or fall.
Only words should be used to counter their arguments, or judge their actions.
Not assaults of any other kind.
My laughing at what happened to Nigel Farage was a cheap shot. I should have resisted the schoolboy urge to take it.

I don't have a problem with the Reform UK leader.
Indeed, historically he has won my vote at General Elections (while he was leader of UKIP) more often than any other political leader.

And I don't have a problem with anyone who posts with the honesty and integrity shown in the opening message of this thread.
It would be the easiest thing to carry on with feuding and sniping.
I am grateful that this will not happen here.

I'm sorry as well @Ubedizzy2
I hope we can :emoticon-0150-hands and move on.

I think this is water under the bridge now so I'm locking this thread.

If anybody disagrees send me a message and I'll consider the question.
