The thread on which I had a pop at smnwllms has been closed, so I cannot make this apology there. I hope the faithful will forgive me, therefore, for starting a new thread, but I want to make my apology as public as I made my little rant. Having recently been falsely accused by a Chelsea mod-wum of being smnwllms, and then having smnwllms reference me in one of his recent posts, I naturally assumed that he was in on the wind-up. My reaction, whilst understandable in the circumstances, was over the top and unacceptable. Having spoken with smnwllms via PM, I now understand that he is as much a victim of Ginger Marks' malicious accusations as I am, and it was wrong for me to mistake his expressions of friendship and support for adverse comments. Anyone man enough to dish it out should be man enough to apologise, in public, when they have discovered that they have erred. To smnwllms I offer my unreserved apologies, and hope that he can forgive my little brattish outburst.
You old cynic! Subtext or not, my apology to smnwllms is very real. He was gracious enough to PM me and, with some surprise, ask why I had set upon him, and it made me realise that I had been wrong to set on him. My anger and frustration had blinded me to the real villains of the peace, and smnwllms was not one of them. I was wrong to have a pop at him.
Whilst I don't always agree with everything HIAG says & does, we can agree on one thing. Ginger Marks is an irritating twat. Quite how he became a moderator when he can't even moderate himself, is beyond me.
Thanks for your words of support, NSS. I don't want to turn this into a concealed pop at Ginger Marks (really, I don't!). For some reason, the man/boy has it in for me. Perhaps I remind him of a kid who used to nick his sweets at school, I don't know. The important thing for me, in this thread, is that I make it clear that I am sorry for my outburst against smnwllms, and that I absolutely bear him no grudges.

Just seen this. I really am a noob on these things. Thanks for the apology HAIG, it is totally accepted. I knew this was just a case if people getting the worng end of the stick. I still don't know how I came to be accused of being someone else posting things that I still haven't read. Anyhoo, it's all done now and we're all friends again. Lets get back to supporting our great, great football team Tottenham Hotspur FC and winding up those south London Pikies and Chavs. Come on yoooooouuuuu SPUUUUUUUUUURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
