With all due respect I never felt it was a sensible idea to do a minute silence with kick off that late and people drinking all day etc but there was a very small minority from both sides that did not observe the minutes silence today, you will read various things and probably make your own minds up but the small few (and I mean no more than 10 whereabouts where I was sat) were condemned and abused for not observing it and many including myself were visibly upset by the behaviour of them. Nonetheless I look forward to locking horns with you again and renewing our recent footballing rivalry
Fair play mate, every club has idiots and I suspected something like that would happen. I'm glad apart from a small group the rest of the fans in stadium observed the minute silence immaculately. Not just for the remembrance of Hillsborough but of the sad loss of Piermario Morosini who died on the pitch this weekend.
I have already commented on this several times. I thank you for your personal apology, and on behalf of those in your vicinity. However, whilst not being there, it was fairly obvious from the level of the booing and the subsequent comments of the commentators, that there was a sizeable contingent who abused the silence. This was not just for The 96. It was also for the Italian footballer. You're on a hiding in the final. JFT 96.
I as a Chelsea fan who was at the game yesterday would also like to apologise for some of our ****er fans....sorry.
KKD, Thanks for the apology and it's good to see you on our board. It's just sad that we all have a small number of idiots who disgrace our clubs with their behaviour. let's look forward to the great Torres/Carroll debate - it's a pity cross-threads have been suspended. Good luck in your other semi.
i think the antics of Alan Davies in the run-up to the semi should not be under-estimated. Deliberately generated a sense of greviance in the Chelsea fans, and I'm sure he was glowing with self-important fulfillment at yesterday's events. Punk. Question I have to ask is why, if City and Norwich could play at the same time as us, why couldn't Chelsea and Spurs have played at 14.00, or even earlier? And why do semi-finals have to be played at Wembley anyway?
The reason we couldnt play at 2pm Dongo is because nothing but nothing must clash with the Manc FA darlings. Also was a fukin joke that they didnt show our highlights last night but guess what...fukin UTD was on telly again. I was driving home from Wembley on the phone to the missus telling her to record the game for when I got home hahaha, silly cow spent ages looking for it.!! Anyway, should be a great final and who knows maybe Nando to get the winner !
Thanks to all your fans who've taken the trouble to come and apologize- we appreciate it. Looking forward to the final, we've had some epic encounters over the last few years. It's true you're due a win over us sometime soon, but leave it for a bit, eh? Even when he was playing well for us, Nando looked like he was about to burst into tears half the time. Hope we can give him a reason.
Interesting you come on here to make an "apology" then lie about the disgraceful chants coming from "both" sides, when infact It was only the Chelsea end, also I doubt you was at the game as it was more then "10" people, it was over a 100 fans at least.

Please let's not stoke this up any further- the actual number in question doesn't matter. 10, 100, a thousand- they're still a minority. All clubs have a contingent of idiots who don't know the difference between rivalry and hatred, and they're a constant embarrassment to the rest of us.
Still a small minority and there were many trying to stop the idiots singing and talking throughout it.
It does matter when a set of fans, spurs fans show respect and due to chelsea fans not showing respect, a mod on this board decides to lie and drag spurs fans into it, thats pretty shameful and shows their class.
Yes, thats fine, but why lie and drag spurs fans into it? if anything your proving chelsea fans dont have any class as I actually defended the generalization agaisnt chelsea fans, claiming this was just some idiots but i didnt expect a chelsea mod on this board to try and stir things up.
In defence of our mod. We were not there yesterday. We watched it on TV. From ITV's coverage we couldn't tell which set of supporters were disrespecting the silence and it was immediately followed by a chorus of boos - the intended target for which was not at all clear. If you want an example of how fair minded our Mods are then look at the action they took before your semi when there was a complaint about chants at OT. They were the first to nip trouble in the bud by clearly stating that none of us should even try and tar all United supporters with the same brush.
Unlike you I haven't had the benefit of seeing replays on TV etc, when you are in a crowd of 85,000 people it's easy to be mistaken. I was near enough sat by segregation and the booing most certainly came from the Spurs end (I could not make out why) but the chants were definitely coming from our end.
