Amsterdam we are coming!

Well... you can't knock it.... It's a final of a European competition in possibly the best venue in Europe! Well done to the lads and I'm sure we'll take thousands of fans despite the 10,000 allocation. We can make some real history here and hopefully we win it!

I've done every away game domestically in the league and cups apart from Norwich, Everton and Reading and I did Basel away last week for my only European away yet due to 2 uni exams on the day of the final, I can't make Amsterdam. Absolutely gutted. Distraught

I won't be flying over this year for it. With time off and all it's a bit expensive for the EL. I'll save it for next year and another CL final

I have deadlines and I just came back from Amsterdam 3 weeks ago so it's a no for me

I shall be there with my cronies, can't see myself getting a ticket mind.

 

Well the situation is....

I have two exams on that day. One finishes at 12.00 and one starts at 5 and finishes at 7. The later one is an elective and I can afford to fail it tbh as it looks certain I'll pass everything else. So I'm bound to fail this late one as not done the work for it anyway so now need to convince my dad all of this so he can let me go. I'll be able to get a flight fro Leeds to Amsterdam at 4.45pm which gets into Amsterdam 2 hours before kick off and I'll have no luggage. We're dead certain to get tickets so it's a case of the phone call with my dad tomorrow!

I have the whole footballing world on my side for this one!

 

it's a bit of a ballache that it's midweek! Both CL and EL should be when the season has finished on a weekend in my book.

 

Exaclty... I'm sure that I'm not the only one who may not make it due to work... If it was on the Saturday then I'd be fine!

 

who were you looking on flying with bucks on the wednesday and how much will that set you back? a mate of mine has had his arm twisted this evening!

 

From Leeds Bradford to Amsterdam is £54 with Jet2... ****ing bargain and gets you in 2 hours before kick off. Thankfully the airport is quite close to the ground. Keep it on the hush hush though. May need to book it tomorrow!
