24yr old Tunisian International Centre Back having medical at Southampton according to reports. I will post link in a minute!!
Just received a call from a friend at St Mary's Ammar Jemal a 24 year old center back from Tunisia is currently having a medical.
Never heard of him, but has international experience with tunisia and champions league experience with young boys ( against spurs)
I have - Tunisian international defender Ammar Jemal, who plays for Young Boys Berne (Switzerland D1) is at hand to engage with the English club Southampton, just to get into Championship (second division English). This season, the former Etoile du Sahel played 39 games in the jersey of the club of the Swiss capital. Ammar Jemal only has to pass the traditional series of medical examinations before wearing the jersey of the Saints, and become the teammate of Radhi Jaidi.
Cheers, much appriaciated!! Sounds like a promising player and I take it Jaidi had a big hand in this if we pull it off!!
nice to have someone other than alex to talk about! maybe this is one of the people theyre trying to get in before saturday.
As I had never heard of him, I was a bit unsure. But now you have said that I feel alot more confident.
Investigated more () and he was one of their best players in the Europa League last season. Scored against Zenit as well. This team really is starting to make my mouth water.
Well If I remember a couple of weeks back in a different report they were saying Saints were looking for a left footed centre back. This boy is left footed with CL and EL experience, at a very good age where he can keep improving and push on. He's got Jaidi to help integrate into the team and a partner of Fonte who is quiet easily one of the better centre backs in the Championship. Sign him up please!!
I think he is their 3rd choice centre back - He would certainly be guarenteed a starting place next to Fonte i'd imagine. - If this is true, it doesn't look good for Seaborne?
Has been rumoured to be off, and I think Martin may be ahead of him in Adkins' estimations (along with everyone else's)
