http://translate.google.co.uk/trans...X&tbo=1&biw=1680&bih=933&tbs=qdr:h&prmd=ivnso I think we should let this transfer go - it's not looking good really
Possibly his agent wanting to know so he can claim 10% of the transfer fee for his client or himself.
I was going to say the same thing - I was under the impression you only bothered to apply for a Work permit, once everything else had been agreed. If he doesn't sign, its not the end of the world - there are other CB options out there
There are loads of bullshit websites over here full of rubbish that people have made up/exaggerated from slight truths (well, not just websites but national newspapers) so there's no reason why it wouldn't be the same in foreign nations. Wouldn't read too much into it, as I wouldn't from the ones saying he's nailed on.
I remember seeing a post the other day saying "we got him!!" Saying how he was to be signed on either tuesday or wednesday.... hmm
The funny thing is in a hour's time he could be a Saints player! Paper talk! In other news Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has signed for Arsenal for the fifteenth time
Surely that is not for us to disclose? That is up to the parent club. If he decided not to sign because of non disclosure then we would have to assume that he is another of those petulant players we can do with out. Although looking at it here we are discussing yet another article printed in a paper can we believe it?
He's away, training with Tunisia now so in my opinion this transfer deal is dead http://www.lapresse.tn/04082011/34332/le-compte-a-rebours-a-commence.html
To be honest, I am now inclined to think that a couple of loan deals would better serve. I mean, do we really want to offer three year contracts to players that may not cut it in the top flight? Pleased with the new recruits so far, but disappointed we haven't been more aggressive in nailing down a good player for what was identified by all, as a priority.
Agreed! Good age. Championship and International experience and a leader (Captain of his national team apparently)
The bit that sounds true is that NC refused to tell him the purchase price. Didn't sound that set on joining us, so better it didn't go through. Hope we have a back up plan.
