The flip side of it is when you see Iraqi citizens on TV saying stuff like "Our lives are worse than they were before, we live in constant fear of terror attacks" I've said it before but Americans aren't stupid just extremely ignorant. Which is entirely worse because at least stupidity can't be cured. There is no excuse for ignorance though. It's not that they can't grasp the concept of Failure in victory. i once overheard a couple about how they were on a convoy and they heard a shot and no on ehad seen the firing point but there was **** all about on the left hand side (the guy thought i'd sounded like it came from there) over than this raised feature of earth a few hundred metres away so he put 100 rounds through his .50cal in the general direction those things can travel for ****ing miles and still blow you in half.

They just like making a noise. I was in the bar below that EuroHostel in Glasgow the other week and there was a load of them in there hooting like a parliament of owls. They were drinking bottles of Budweiser too, which I would only consider drinking if I was in the middle of a desert and had no pish left. ****ing perfectly good beer on tap you ****s! Drinking that swill should be illegal.
