Well congress is now debating an internet censorship bill, check it out http://americancensorship.org/ If passes, by the sounds of it, it looks like a site like this would cease to exist. Thoughts? My opinion - a government that prides itself on a bogus image of freedom of speech, right to protest , etc etc, is scared by the numerous examples of the visible effectiveness of the use of social media to subvert traditional means of information distribution (i.e. propaganda laden mainstream media) in many cases over the past year (wikileaks, "arab spring") that undermine the government's efforts to keep information secret and restrict their ability to supress public expressions of anger at decisions the government has taken or scandals the governement has been involved in. Land of the free my ass
