  1. Does anyone else just feel so bloody brilliant about our club atm?

I don't expect everything to go our way, and it wouldn't suprise me if we lose one of Enrique or Tiote, but i'm glad that we're trying to keep players.

Well done Pardew for convincing Ashley to give Tiote the 50k a week. Our club is starting to realise what it takes to succeed and achieve stability.

I was devastated that the first season i bought a season ticket, and the first season i really started to love the toon, we got relegated. Broke my heart to see us gan doon. But we were all rewarded for our faith and for sticking by the lads in the worst of times, and relegation ended up being a blessing in disguise. Now look! We could be pushing for Europe!

I personally don't believe we will suffer from second season syndrome. I think that happens to clubs that didn't actually have a PL quality team with PL quality players, but the high morale and spirit from promotion saw them through the season, not necessarily the quality. We have enough quality in midfield, and just lack one or two additions, to make sure that we can repeat this season's peformance next season, and then some!

All we need is a quality striker, and cover for defense. I don't know why some people are saying we need to sign a quality right winger, and we haven't got anyone with pace there. Gutierrez?? He's not a brilliant player most of the time, but he has pace, decent skill and can play RW if we need him there. We have cover for every where in midfield.

It just feels so good that the club seems to be really pushing with ambition, and actually does seem like it's trying to achieve stability. That, and the best atmosphere around the place since Wor Bobby was here. The ambition is what is going to help us keep Tiote, Enrique and players of this quality, so we need to really start thinking about Europe. I think if we win tomorrow and if we're sitting on 38 points, we can safely say that we're not going to get relegated. I know anything can happen, but i don't think we'll lose all of our remaining games, especially seeing as the squad is only going to get stronger with the return of Ben Arfa, Gosling and Ireland.

Howay the lads!!!! Destory Bolton tomorrow plz k thx lol :D

I wish you would make you mind up, one minute the world is S***e the next the sun is shining and Jonas is waving at you, more changable than a lasses mood.

It's been very easy feeling brilliant about the club this season, forgetting the minor glitches coming in the form of the departure of Hughton and Carroll.
We've had some fantastic result, the team are playing brilliantly, have an excellent attitude on the pitch with each other, the fans, and the manager, and I'm extremely warming to Pardew.

This is most definitely an extremely exciting season, and I too think we wont have any problems next year! A few acquisitions in the summer and our plane ticket to Europe may just well be booked!

He's right, he consumed a lot of humble pie. We all get caught up in moments a lot of the time. Don't automatically disregard his articles just cuz of that, give the lad a chance. (I am aware we are the same age I think Tash, so saying 'the lad' doesn't really fit, but nevermind eh)

There are times when Tash confounds expectations and delivers a considered opinion with cogniscient points, you are quite right to defend him however there are also times when he just dribbles obscenities over the internet, but it is amusing.

It can be amusing yes, but not frustrating. Tash has a real passion about the club and that's 100% a brilliant thing to have, as we all do.
We all talk/write/think random stuff all the time. I know I do. If you knew me in person you'd know I talk/rant random crap all the time. It's human nature for some people. At least a lot of the time Tash does it whilst showing great love for the club.

I'm not one to hold a grudge for any reason. I never write articles so I can't say anything really. But we're all friends here, it's all cool.

    S'all good. No worries.

I agree Tash, I would actually be disappointed if we didn't finish top half now. I reckon we need though 1 or 2 strikers, our midfield is strong, possibly a left back too depending on how Enrique's contract goes... A goalscorer is a must!

id be a bit gutted if we finished in the bottom half after the season we've had thus far i haven't felt this good for a while for a few seasons now its been daunting not knowing how results are going to go but now it feels like we could get a result against any team i just hope it doesn't end soon !!

As I said on the other 2 articles which said exactly this (howway Tash man, keep up) things are certainly looking good for the long term as well as the short...Being Newcastle we'll no doubt end up losing tomorrow and then getting someone fired/arrested/sold (I know the transfer window has closed but I'm sure Platini will find a loophole)!

I've been in Belfast for 3 years now, the first year was our relegation season, the second was the championship season, and this one is my 3rd...I've never been ashamed to wear my shirts when our running etc. but this season is the first I haven't had Manure or Bindipper fans shouting stuff after me...It feels quite nice!

Pre season I thought we'd finish 13/14 so anything above that is a bonus as far as I'm concerned.
