Really impressive penalty taking, wasn't it? Even when the keeper was getting it right they still couldn't get there.
Brilliant sequence of spot kicks except for one absolute howler! <laugh>

Not one of them had the face of an England player on the walk to the spot, the confidence and sheer nonchalance of the first pen set the tone, I can't think of one England player with the belief to do that in that situation. The keeper haplessly on his arse like a beached whale as the ball drifts over the line...brilliant.

They showed they are light years ahead of British players , brilliant technic.
English players double their true value , in others words a complete waste of money.
People like Ince are not worth touching compared to buying the next Modric.

The pens were "no nonsense" (except for the first one. LOL)

Most of them were perfectly placed to the keepers right, nice and low with venom. Textbook pen.

    I hope adebayor was watching.

I was sure Ramos was going to Baggio it but even he tucked it away well.

Glad Spain went through, it's the final I wanted to see, to be honest.

That's the other thing that made it so impressive.
Every player there knew that they were facing a keeper with immense experience, both of which have won a ton of medals and played over 130 games for their country.
    Didn't phase anyone.

Yeah absolutely brilliant penalties bar Bonucci's.

They knew they were facing two of the world's best keepers so there really was no room for error.

    Puts England to shame.

Adebayor probably tuned in to see Bonucci sky his and then thought "well I don't know why I got all the hate - he did it like I did - unbelievable tekkers!"
