As it stands, I would imagine our team to face Newcastle on sept 12th would be: Kenny Young RB or CB Ferdinand (if he signs) CB Gabbidon CB Traore LB SWP (if he signs) RW Derry or Faurlin DM Barton M Tarrabt LW Bothroyd CF Campbell CF We also had some quality players on the bench (smith, buzz, helguson, dyer) This looks like a very realistic line up and not including the possibility of Dann, Ridgwell, Crouch etc. But if we don't sign any other players than the able line up I will be super happy. Let's not get to greedy and not forget that the future has never been so bright. We have to remember those dark days and allow the team to gel and most importantly give Tony Fernandes the respect he deserves. Wouldn't trade him or the manager for anyone else in the league.... Somebody pinch me... You R'ssss!

only two of the names I have mentioned haven't officially signed yet, but all players who have visited the club for a chat and/or medical have signed........so in short, i have every right to get excited So go and be a Victor Meldrew somewhere else.....I think Arsenal are looking for new martyrs....
I share your optimism Newbury and things have taken a massive turn for the better over the last 10 days or so. It will take time for the new team to gel and we shouldn't set too high expectations even with the new signings. I'm enjoying the ride come what may.
