Against Arsenal I wanted Ranieri to put Marc Albrighton right back instead of bringing on Wasilewski.

He might consider that rather then throwing Amartey straight in

... personally I'd prefer to see Amartey if he is fit enough ... Albrighton tackles like a forward rather than a defender ... not too bad as a wing-back but as an out and out right back I'd have concerns ...

Don't think that would have been wise mate.

I thought that bring Wasyl on and tucking Albrighton in alongside him was the smarter play. Albrighton did pretty much play as a right back, but Wasyl was always there covering.

Personally think Amartey should play. These are the sort of games where you should introduce players to the Premier League.

I can see Armartey coming in. One Thing's for sure, after a defeat, a rest, v a team in the bottom 3 & at home, we need to put the best out & batter em. No time for a dodgy Patch, we can have that next Pre-season. :)

Why isnt Liam Moore on loan? Clearly an asset to some team and not getting a look-in here

Talk of De Laet returning from his loan

Most pointless loan ever if true

Amartey played 90 minutes at RB for the under 21s the other day, so at least we know he's fit and can play in that position if required. Can anyone testify if he was any good? I know it's hard to tell at U21 level.

Defensively I would describe him more as a number 2 <laugh>

He's rubbished talk of a return.. he's done well there and if we are honest that is probably the right level...

Why would we recall De Laet when it's a one match suspension & we've got Amartey?

Amartey is not a RB - is one thing to play there a couple of times in the Danish League, it is another thing altogether now.

Norwich haven't been playing well recently but they do have good wingers and would 100% target him and Mahrez's strength isn't defence.

Can see us playing 3 at the back with Albrighton as a wing back TBH.

I doubt that will happen, and I hope it won't. It's not a formation we have played this season and would take too much away from the rest of the team. I think we'll continue to play to our strengths, so can't see anything other than the normal 4-4-2. It's another must win game, as is every match until the end of the season.

just seemed stupid to send him out when he would step in if simpson got injured. He is a decent ability 2nd choice RB

Chilwell could come in on the left with Fuchs moving to the right ... stop panicking people ... Claudio has been great with his tactics so far and I'm sure he will already have a plan for Norwich ... <ok>
