The Italian Supreme Court reasons for acquittal:

"Stunning flaws in the investigation and blames increased media attention for creating a frantic search for guilty parties. There was an absolute lack of biological traces connecting Knox and Sollecito to the crime. All evidence still points to the guilt of Rudy Guede."

No **** even batted an eyelid when he was found guilty. All they cared about was Knox. Trial by media.

If it was me and I was totally innocent but knew it would help my cause or whatever to blame another totally innocent person, then that's exactly what I'd do. Even if it was just to buy time until they realised the obvious and the black man did it.
