who loves our new home kit?! It's different, modern, classy and this is what NC wants Southampton fc to look like to everyone else. From the way we play football to our transfer "behind the scenes" policy, it all goes hand in hand to me in a "new Saints" sort of way! Love the kit, wear it with pride and lets all look forward to a fantastic season - be optimistic, be Nige!!!!!

Don't worry, the majority of people like the new kits as polls yesterday proved. It's just those who don't like it are far more vocal, because what's the point in being miserable if you can't complain?

I can confidently predict that Jaytaboo will have forgotten what the problem with the new kit was.

He was banned from here before (Jaytab) for being a tosser, I assume it'll happen again before long.

It's grown on me ever since it's been released. I wouldn't say I 'love' it, but it's different and I like it.

FFS. Let people be. If people don´t like the kit, it doesn´t mean they are miserable. Not everyone has to have the same opinion as you. geeeez.

Alan, I must point out those that have posted negatively about the shirt have come across in a very miserable manner. One or two haven't, but those that give it the F this and F that, well, they get called what they deserve mate.

Who is he supposed to be letting be? He's posting in agreement with the OP. Perhaps it is you who should be letting people be.

I understand what you´re saying but when I first saw the kit my reaction was F this and F that, because that was how I felt. I did not like it in the slightest. Why should I say I don´t like it very much when in fact I ****ing hate it. I know it sounds bad but that is my opinion and if you don´t like it, then don´t come on to a forum where people state their opinions, I´m not insulting anyone.
Anyway, just because I hate the kit it doesn´t mean I hate Saints, Cortese and everything to do with club.

Alan, you're advocating your right to express your own opinion, but then you come on this thread and have a go at someone for expressing his.

Oh Alan, I've not once had a go at your opinion fella. You have been the one knocking people's opinion. I just stated that people (as you have admitted) have come over very miserable and angry.

Yes it is a forum, and I think my behaviour shows that I know people have an opinion; not so sure about you though.

The difference is that I expressed my opinion on the kit, not on what other people thought of the kit. I don´t think it is right that people should directly mention other people by calling things like moaners just because they don't agree with them.

    No you are not alone.

It's a bold change but I like the look of it. It's not the norm and it's a bit controversial, maybe that's part of the appeal. I've even ordered a home shirt and if I have enough spare cash I may purchase an away one during the season.

    Poor Alan getting stick.
Simply put just because you complain about something it does not make you a miserable person.

But the majority of people who hated the kit last night were being very miserable about it?? Just look at the thread, I didn't call Alan out by name, I didn't say everyone who disliked it is a miserable person, however a lot of people were being very miserable about it last night.

No, you said miserable, not angry. They are two very different things. Miserable suggests that a person is constantly unhappy with things and sees the bad in everything. I´m personally very happy with everything at Saints, just not the kit....and I´ll repeat again that I am not miserable because of it. Angry, yes. If I come on here and complain about everything to do with the club, then you can call me miserable.
