Who is absolutely p##### themselves in excitment about next season ?? Maybe i'm being a bit too 'glass half full' but unlike last year we've got an owner who obviously cares for and loves the club and supporters. We've got a manager who although some havn't completely warmed too, seems to have the team on his side and gets them working for him. We've got a team now that includes top class goal scorers, a strong midfield (Cant wait for Ali to fit back in) and a defence that has been looking solid. We've got money for investment, a strong infrastructure and the prospects of a new ground on the horizon. I might be made to eat my words but come on guys and girl.....the future has never looked this bright.....has it ??? And i even promise not to moan too much if the season ticket prices go up this year. The future is bright...the future is Blue and White
Mid-table mediocrity next season. Quite boring really. However, the future's bright ... and it ain't orange. The new "four year plan" seems well under way.
No, you are not! Eagerly waiting for any communication from the club, next years fixtures (approx end June) and hoping for a first day home match against a club we might beat! COYRs!
I agree with Mr Holmes, looking forward to a season of mid table mediocrity any thing else will be a bonus.
we've got s/t prices before then & will they come down? well after the goons prices they should look after us a bit better.
I suggest we chip in and get a N606 box then all posters on here worldwide get to book and come over. I am hoping to be tucked away in the south of France within a few years which believe it or not is easier to travel to than get across London at times.
I'm with you Staines! The future is looking brighter than for a long time. I do have reservations about MH's cautious approach, but rather that than the Championship anyday! Most important thing is we survived, and that we can see the possibility of mid table next year and a Cup. As we are QPR, I expect lots of ups and downs and probably a relegation struggle again!
In which case MH will have broken his word "never again while I am at the club". So, today's debate: do we believe him?
I'm actually buzzing at the prospect of a relatively settled pre-season. I guess there'll be lots of goings, about 5-6 incoming players but no change of ownership and the manager gets his budget early and buys who he wants. What happens after that... dammit it's going to be a long Summer. Good times.
I believe him. The Goons stuck their knives into us and we were a wounded animal for the first half of last season. We'll be prepared this time, methinks
I do believe him - some of the players we have and the form and cohesion we showed at the back end of the season should give us a fantastic spring board.
Hey, I'm too excited by the prospect of England winning Euro 2012, the Olympics, plus a summer of cricket - to think about next season just yet!
My weekly spending will crash over the next few months with no away tickets or travel to pay for I'd been looking forward to the break having had my nerves shredded over the last few weeks, but no sooner had I arrived home from Manchester on Sunday evening that I wanted the new season to start immediately! As it is I'm looking forward to the transfer rumour mill and all those great pre-season friendlies!
Spot on Goldie. With a Summer of building and improving the squad, I'm certain we'll continue on our upward curve and finish mid-table.
