According to the liverpoolwebsite(yes i know its via talksport) we are in line to sign Aly Cissokho as Man City have signed Clichy.
I know nothing of him....what is he like?

he's on of top 10 LB in the world I guess, he's attack minded, really good one, but I would prefer Enrique instead of him.

enrique is more consistent and better at defending whereas cissokho is quality going forward and has a much better cross

I prefer Cissokho. Glen Johnson isn't the best in defence but has improved under KK and I'm sure they'll be able to sort out Aly's problems.

And if he doesn't improve, maybe play him on the left? (Gareth Bale all over again?)

I'd also prefer Cissokho. He's young (23) and is a very good defender. At £10M, which is the price the media is saying, he would be excellent value for money and sort out our left-back problem.

Yeah, Cissokho at 2 years young and around £5m less points to better business than Enrique. Two good seasons with us and he could be worth double what we paid for him.

I don't think that we're gonna get him so cheap, only £10m, Lyon had bought him from Porto aprox. €15m, so I don't think that Lyon want to sell him under €15m
