Old Klipperty Klopp has been losing his charisma a bit recently and dare i say a bit moany ala mourinho (to be fair i haven't watched many of his interviews so can imagine the media have embellished his negativity). this is always great to see though and i'm always for these things happening. So well done Klopp and lovely to see your charisma on full show.
Did anyone see the interview in Russia? http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...s/jurgen-klopp-liverpool-just-suffer-13673400
This short video from a petrol station for a poorly 13 yr old Everton fan as well http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/jurgen-klopp-sends-special-message-13581396
Well. he obviously knows our defending is rubbish and is getting frustrated at his inability (so far) to get to grips with it, so I doubt he's very happy atm. Anyway, nice to see the video, and the lad with a couple of the players at the end. It's easy to forget when we're slagging them off all the time that they're just people too.
Thanks for posting this Bobby - did my spirits good. Not only does it show, as saint said, that the players [and Klopp himself] are just people too but it puts a lot of things in your own life in perspective. Wish the boy luck in life and what a lovely, kind and caring Mum he's got.
Yeah i heard about that. The most angry/biggest cheats/misbehaved football players are sometimes the nicest off the pitch. Some are just passionate for the game buts its great to see how down to earth and approachable he is off the pitch. Was also great to see that shot of Winja as he looks genuinely happy and humble to meet that guy. Ronaldo is a great example of crybaby and dislikeable on the field but a great guy off it (at least thats what i see)
Someone asked him does he love his players due to poch saying he would spread himself for kane. Klopp was laughing at the guy. I love Harry he says. Cue sturridge unhappy articles tomorrow lads... that's how the press works.
He could have said " I love Firmino" and the next day the papers will have been full of the pics when he kissed Firmino full on. Rather I suspect he could not think of the right player: Mane has not been playing, firmino not scoring, Salah missing sitters and coutinho wanting to leave
I think he might just have been taken aback by the idiocy of it all. It's just a bizarre question. Like asking which of your kids you love most.
Sorry but that bit about Ronaldo is really not true. Maybe he's matured now but he was a real dick at Man Utd.
Far be it from me to defend a utd player but I know that when asked one time in interview why he has no tattoos he replied that he has a rare blood type and donates regularly. For that reason he could be called on at any given hour for a blood donation and wouldn't be able to give if he'd had a tattoo in [whatever period of time you're not allowed to give blood following having a tattoo] - so won't ever get one. That's a side to him that hasn't been given much publicity and a very generous thing for him to do for his fellow man.
First of all a little story to tell you what kind of man we are talking about. It is January 9, 2008, and in an upstairs room at Manchester United's training ground five elderly men in smart blazers are struggling with their emotions in front of a hushed audience. It is the club's media day building up to the 50th anniversary of the Munich air disaster and Sir Bobby Charlton's polite smile does not hide the fact he is trembling as he takes his seat. Bill Foulkes is straight-backed and dignified but only a couple of questions have been asked before the tears appear in his eyes and he reaches for a glass of water. In an adjacent room Wayne Rooney has agreed to offer a modern-day perspective of that seminal day when 23 people, including eight members of Sir Matt Busby's team, were killed in the wreckage of the burnt-out BEA Elizabethan. It is not his specialist subject but he handles the occasion with dignity and more eloquence than some people might imagine. But then Cristiano Ronaldo comes through the double doors and the mood is broken. He is wearing a white suit jacket and ripped jeans, looking every bit the boy-band hunk, but it is very obvious he is in a bad mood. He begins by berating Karen Shotbolt, the club's press officer, because he is waiting for Rooney and the event has over-run. He is banging his watch with his hand, flapping his arms and gesturing in the way that Portuguese footballers usually reserve for fussy referees and, at first, he is so animated it appears as if it might be a wind-up. When he flounces back through the doors, cursing loudly, it is very obvious he is being deadly serious. Rooney is professional enough to carry on with his tribute but the attention is no longer exclusively on him. Thirty seconds later Ronaldo appears again, first rapping his forefinger against the glass in the door, then opening it by a fraction and starting to whistle at Rooney in the way that a farmer beckons his sheepdog. One member of staff at Old Trafford reports being shocked by his rudeness when sorting out his travel arrangements for a club trip last season. And then there was last season's Football Writers' Association's annual dinner when, with barely any notice, its player of the year demanded that space was made for five of his friends to attend and that he would like them all to be on the top table with him
yeah when i say he's nice off it (not personally) i know he does a lot for charity, regular does things for children etc etc. Hate the man on the field, selfish player, diving pansy and too egotistical with all his whining.
I suspect the real reason Ronaldo doesn't have any tattoos is that he's scared of the pain. We've seen how he falls over anytime someone comes near him. He'd rather flop down than go through the torture of being tackled.
