    Lazio and Uruguay midfielder 'made available to QPR' according to the Times.

    Centre/ right midfielder, 30 in October, but he's only played 143 professional games, with a grand total of 10 goals. 30 Uruguay caps, came on as a sub in their loss to Costa Rica in last World Cup.

    Uninspiring, and probably untrue.

    The phrase 'made available to QPR' makes it a bit clearer.

    Lazio want rid, so they phone round. QPR seem to have lots and lots of money and are spending .

    "Hello, is that QPR? Claudio Lotito from Lazio here. Do you wanna buy Alvaro Gonzalez? No?? Oh well, thanks, ciao."

    3 goals in 95 outings for Lazio hardly suggest he is a decent replacement for Adel 4 in 14 at Milan. Think he plays further back.
