1 thing gained from all this is I'm pretty sure I can read an MRI/ultrasound scan of heels like no other lol. Dr Sone Aluko PhD. Sounds good

Steve Bruce says Sone Aluko will have an operation, now just the case of the severity of it and whether he's out for 2 or 6 months. #hcafc

Such a pity that these things happen.

At least Fryatt and Aluko will have thew whole summer to recover and we won't have to rush them back.

It's as expected, but it's still disappointing to actually have it confirmed.

    Get well soon Sone.

This happened with ***an, Garcia and Hunt. They came out with "they might need an operation", let them play (which could have exacerbated it) and ended up having the surgery anyway. If surgery is an option that is seriously considered, then it's probably better to just get it over and done with. If he'd had this in January when it first occurred, then he'd already have had two months recovery. In fact, if like OLM says the recovery time is 2-6 months, then he might have featured at the end of the season. As it is, he probably won't feature again until mid pre season, which is a damn shame.

A front line of Fryatt and Aluko next season? I would love to see that in the Championship. I would be worried about it in the prem...

And Fryatt and Dudgeon. It keeps happening at this club, and I don't think it's a coincidence.

No surprise at all. Been on the cards for a while. Just get the op done and lets have him back and fit for next season. Maybe a Small chance that Fryatt will be back towards the end of April. ?

Why ?? We shall only know when we get there.

Many felt that King and Cousin would not work either.

True, but to play devils advocate, nobody thought Caleb Folan or Wayne Brown would be good enough for the Premier League. And they were right.

Hobbs had a long time out injured, but he didn't play on the injury did he? IIRC he did it chasing back in the Cov home game and over stretched, got injured then went off for his op.
