Great news, SB is not stupid, he will have made sure, as much as you can, that his injury is not a long term issue.
Well done Sone. Nice to see the club's loyalty through some tough injuries recognised. I know he's missed a lot of football, but he's too good to let simply slip away, and maybe we might just get some luck on his injuries for a change. Good news.
Hopefully he gets himself fit and stays fit. Then plays well enough to get him a big move. He's one of our best players when on song.
I'd only have given him a one year extension with appearance bonuses to increase his wage when he plays and appearance triggered extension clauses. Glad he's signed though, I think our current performance and position in the league may have helped.

Good move by the club this. Aluko has half a season to make a real impact in the division. If he does we will have a great asset for next season or if we sell him in summer we will get his full market value. Yes there is a risk he could be injured again, but the club can only follow medical advice and it seems they must have got the thumbs up.
