According to the Daily Star, SB is pricing him at £7m: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...uce-wants-7m-for-want-away-striker-Sone-Aluko
Couldn't agree more but giving Aluko a 2 and a half year deal Steve Must have thought we were going down as Aluko is a Championship Player at best and will never see his name on the First Team starters list (imo). Frazer Campbell would be a far better option and if Cardiff go down he might just be available - on a fee plus player exchange deal(?). Sagbo went to the same "School for Strikers" as Altidore and will have to be off-loaded (again just my opinion but he is way off the quality required at this level).
Give it a rest with Campbell that ship has well and truly sailed , a fully fit aluko is more than capable of playing premier league football
If Aluko was worth 7mill we wouldnt be getting rid as he would stand out for us every game.Think Aluko thinks he should be starting every game and has spat his dummy out..just something Brucie has to work round at mo.
I think Aluko is still very much in Bruce's plans, though he'll obviously have to regain his form if he wants to stay in them, I think we have several players who he'd want to lose ahead of him. I think not mentioning Fraizer Campbell should be a new rule on here, particularly anywhere near a transfer window.
I feel the contract length is to get a good price (should we sell him); I also think he'll be effectively in the 'shop window' come Wembley day.
Nah Davis worth about 8mill as still an unknown quantity to the top teams and id rather have him for an extra 1mill in my team.
a) fluffs Aluko's ego with the price tag and confirming he's in his plans b) warns off potential buyers c) reminds Aluko that he needs to work hard to get back to his best nice little statement.
Aluko is coming back from a very serious injury. It takes time to get back into the game. That is quite simply why he hasn't been risked too much. With a cup final place virtually assured, although not by himself it seems, that is why he has made a couple of stupid tweets. To accuse him of not being a team player is complete and utter bollocks. Sure, he is playing for himself as he gets himself fit, but how can anyone say that he was playing for himself when he came on against Sheff Utd and completely changed the game. Some people do need to look at what they post at times. Oh, and one other thing, he has just signed a new contract, what the hell would he want to go for once his rehab is finished and he is one of the first names on the team sheet. You couldn't make it up, no really.l
If you had a possible career-ending injury and got offered a two-and-a-half-year deal, wouldn't your agent recommend you sign it?
Again in today's market Davies is worth more than 8 million , teams in the championship are asking that for a cb after the year Davies has had 8 million would be cheap
