Just read on Sky & HDM that Aluko might be back for Blackburn on the 19th or Bolton the next game. If he does, will it be alongside Gedo? Or see how it goes with the new boys?

I don't think he would start either of those if he was back.

He would probably play in Koren's role behind the striker (Gedo), and roam between the opposition midfield and defence.

I think the first choice pairing will probably be Gedo & Aluko but it may take time to get them both match fit

Surely Gedo's match fit, due to him playing internationally last night?

I agree that Aluko will play the Koren role with Robbie dropping back in to midfield. However I disagree about Aluko not starting the games when he is deemed fit, I think Bruce will throw him straight back in at the first opportunity

There is match fit in a friendly and match fit in a championship promotion race. I think he will be on the bench Saturday

We rushed St. Ledger back first time around and he then got the same injury and was out for longer

You rushed Aluko back last time and the same happened aswell. You really need to be careful with hamstrings, as Aluko will be alot more important to you towards the backend of the season then now

That's probably true, but as he has an achilles injury it's a bit irrelevant!

Why would any manager in their right mind rush St Ledger back in to the first team?

When we get Aluko back we'll have the full team that proved to be more than a match for any opposition in this division. Add to that the potential of Gedo and Fathi and quite possibly another striker and we should have a great shot at an automatic promotion place.

Far too early to assume anything. I think if Aluko makes either Blackburn or Bolton he will start on the bench unless of course we are desperate.

Gedo more likely to start than Aluko at this point alongside Simmo or Prossie.. Proud Fox is quite correct with the achilies issue
