Alter egos

Having been lurking on and off over the summer and while I've caught some of the fireworks, some I've sadly missed, thing is I'm not sure who is who anymore?

Do we keep a list of former identities? obviously we could keep a whole page on the artist that is sometimes DT. Just for the record I've always been me.

I kept my name from old 606 - but I did wonder who DT and Swords amongst others were on that site, if at all. Some good posters disappeared, maybe they were just reincarnated with different usernames on here.

 

Nope i joined last year as I went for the new media managers job at QPR and needed to find out the thoughts and viewpoints the forums. I didn't of course get the job and to be honest I wouldn't have taken it if offered as until recently the back room boys looked shocking and I predict a big change there in the future as the club grows. The new website and the video editing are very poor... but no problems it better fun being on here as a fan.

I don't think there's a list of them all anywhere, but you can see just under their avatar when someone joined the site. If they've been around ages and you don't recognise the name then go on their profile. Along the top where it's got the tabs for "Visitor Messages", "About Me", "Mates", etc there's one called "Username History" that shows the old name, the new name, the date it was changed, and who changed it for every name change the account has had.

NB: The tab only appears on profiles where the name has been changed. I'd also test it with someone you know has changed their username just in case it's only mods who can see it.

 

Not too many people get that connection North, but it's also partly inspired because I lived down that way!
