Keeping with the film stuff let's have a list of those films which were classics but which almost seem to have been forgotten about. "Midnight Cowboy" was one of my favourites, wonderful performances (especially Dustin as Rizzo Razzo) great storyline and fantastic music. I had the DVD but alas the outlaws borrowed it and never got it back. No chance now right enough - ****s. "Jacobs Ladder" is a fantastic film which is thought provoking and very darl with a great performance from Tim Robbins. Any others chaps and chapesses? Regards Barry Norman Film 82.
As for fogotten gems "Silent Running" with Bruce Dern. Crackin wee film. It was one of the first movies with an ecological message. That gay tree hugger ST would love it.
Great film yep. Hoffman and McQueen. Here's another two French Connection I and II. Gene Hackman has done some cracking films.
I preferred Logan's Run. Think we should introduce a similar euthanasia policy at say 45. <er'sdeathcan'tcomesoonenough>
in all honesty, films that are 'forgotten' or 'almost forgotten' are pish, they wouldnt be forgotten otherwise. but ****s bring them up cos they think it makes them look like movie experts
It's not fact at all - it's all down to personal opinion on what you consider to be a genuinely good movie.
