Leeds: Ashdown, Lees, Crainie, Pearce, Drury, White, Brown, Green Varney (Poleon 46), Gray, McCormack (Pugh 46), . Just after half time we are 4-0 up Varney - Cross from Green Gray McCormack - Penalty White
Who cares? The club may be bringing in a few players, who didn't cost much and who hardly made us excited, but as far as playing football down in Cornwall (against fourth rate opposition)...Nah! Is it just me who is feeling very depressed by things at Leeds United today and perhaps the future? It's not selling Snoddy, I knew this was going to happen ages ago, it's more that we seem to be bringing in players who are past their best and who are not of the standard I was expecting. Filling up a squad full of average players doesn't make sense to me.
Obviously, but it's not erection time is it, what is it, four games in five days against pish teams. It's fitness time and that's all, nothing really to get excited about.
****sake Boab, Chillout man, you're bringing everyone down. look at poor Millwall getting freebies from the lower leagues Let Colin do his job, if he ****s up, moan like a bitch then
Bad day at the office (as they say), not had a positive feeling about Leeds for a few weeks, today (Snoddy going) was perhaps too much for me.
Bet you'd be getting excited if we got humped in every game! It's just that you've forgotten what it's like to have a winning streak, Boab! (Against crap opposition, I agree, but hey!).
Feck, Stirling Albion were up to the sheep shagging area last weekend, we beat Strathspey Thistle by four goals to nil, I was rather pleased, then the very next day, we got humped by Brora Rangers (I hate everything called Rangers) by three goals to nil, I give up, what the feck is that all about?
First games of pre season boab, there is nothing to worry about except fitness. Solidity is key first and add creativity later. As long as fans have kept their hands in their pockets and keep them there until Bates has gone, we know he will have to sell this season. We are close to the end game but the fans have to hold strong
Cheers Bucks - I will remember to bookmark it this time. Not looking very bright at the moment I must say. As for pre-season my greatest concern is the lack of players participating who are still to arrive. At this rate we are going to kick off against Wolves with 9 new players on the pitch who have only had a handful of playing time together.
