Not a good day for the Magpies, they are being sued by Jonas Gutierrez for wrongful dismissal and their owner fat Mike Ashley says he regrets ever buying the club and that there is no money left to put into the club. Hardly conducive with the fans dream of Champions League qualification next season, how deluded can they get.
The club being sued by an ex player, as a reason to 'have a dig' at them, isn't a patch on the reasons that one of our ex players has provided ammunition for recently I haven't read anything suggesting that any of their fans have any notions of such qualification next season, so I don't understand where this apparent delusion comes from The bit about Fat Mike is not a surprise, though, and it's extremely bad news for them
Should have appointed Rafa Benitez the moment he was released by Real Madrid then if that's the case. Just looking at their squad, I reckon they're well prepared for dropping down anyway, financially, they'll have no issues. They'll have to asset strip and bring in some lower-level players. I think from the three big clubs, Villa, Sunderland and Newcastle... Newcastle are probably best prepared to go down, maybe that fear isn't there which could be why they look so toothless at times.
We're hardly in a position to mock them. Had we beaten them to make it 7 in a row and if we were clear of the relegation zone then crack on as far as I'm concerned. I'm more worried about our current state of affairs to be quite honest.
Hard to take Mike Ashley seriously if he's saying there's no money left, when they were last spotted making £24m bids for Berahino just a few weeks ago. Unless Rafa's on a seriously good wage
Agreed mate !.....I'll stop being concerned more when / if we have at least a four point gap between us in 17th and third bottom.
They tend to live in a black and white delusional time warp ' adept at being delusional which makes them feel loved - bless We are just living in a real world of ups and many downs

Add to all that, Mike Ashley has refused to give testimony to the Commons Select Commitee about working conditions at Sports Direct, see http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-35864037. The House of Commons is the second highest court in the land, next to the Lords, and he can be charged with Contempt for it ! This whole thing is getting into the 'Not Funny' category. For them, anyway.
And yet we kick up a stink when they mock us about the AJ thing. There is thousands of things to mock the black and white Steptoe and son lookalikes for. Yet somehow you have found the most boring.
