Is a punch but was a really pathetic one - Yakob reacted more to being tripped at the same time. Now we know that he has a really short fuse he will be targeted next season - the likes of Shawcross, Reid and Huth will have fun with the kid.
... posted what now seems a rather prophetic comment on the Spurs board during the Vardy sending off debate ... responded to a point by one of theirs that I wouldn't be too disappointed if their hot head, Dele Alli lost it and got a ban also (i.e like Vardy) ... boys a real talent but needs to cut that side from his game ... undoubtedly going to get himself a ban for that now ... FA can't afford double standards now can they?
Some saying it was provoked, but at the end of the day, Yacob wasn't the one that lashed out. Can't handle the fire, stay out of the kitchen. He won't get any action being Englands wonderboy.
The FA love the London clubs so he will probably get away with it Jamie Vardy said a naughty word and gets pulled up. Standard non London club treatment
He clearly punched the guy in the stomach, if he doesn't get anything then it will be an absolute joke
FA have now charged him with violent conduct Thats a 3 game ban and Eric Dier got injured aswell last night Their bubble has burst and the wheels have fallen well and truley off their cart Tottenham Hotspur were waiting for you
He's got a bit of a nasty streak to him, has Alli, I've noticed this before. Have you heard Pochettino's remarks? He basically says that players know Alli has a temper and must have been provoking him, what an excuse!
Thats just like saying "Pulis did his homework" Accepted the charge, though a 3 game ban seems harsh for what seems like handbags, guess its good to see any sort of "lashing out" whether it be a punch to the gut or a headbutt gets the same treatment though. He'll learn from this and probably tear a few teams apart next year.
Not sure if it was Pochettino's misuse of English when he said that opponents try to get at Alli because they know he has a strong character. Acting like he did and throwing a needless punch when things start to go wrong shows a weak character.
Don't really fancy Spurs' chances going to Chelsea without Alli and Dier, although they may be fired up like we were last weekend over a perceived injustice.
