This song was particularly well-used today. I've seen a few people on here talking about the chant and saying they really like it. Can anyone explain why? I don't really get the significance of it? We have a few good unique chants and some quite witty ones (I particularly like the Jelavic one) this one just seems to be a load of pretty standard sport noises. Also West Brom have been singing it lately too so it's not even like it's just us. Am I missing something about why people seem to like it so much? Also when I've seen it written by people on here it's in the French way that I've also written it, is it based on a French song or something? Not trying to be a negative **** just wondering if there's something I'm not understanding about it.
I prefer Steve Bruce and all the other clappy songs which I can join in with without looking an utter **** being the only one stood up shouting in a reasonable proximity.
Glad you've said this, it's a **** chant. What's it mean anyway ? Edit: http://weloveyoueverton.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/the-roberto-martinez-everton-song.html
Allez, Allez, Allez Oh Allez, Allez, Allez Oh We're Everton F.C Roberto's Blue Army...even though everton play in blue and white!!
My daughter has told me Rovers have been singing it for years and it's just transferred to the football
Little donkey, little donkey On the dusty road Got to keep on plodding onwards With your precious load. Been a long time, little donkey Through the winter’s night Don’t give up now, little donkey The goal is in sight.
I heard someone singing a Jela one at Sunderland: I wanna tell you, I might as well do, about a man that can do anything He's from Croatia, He'll score against ya, Jelavic Jelavic Jelavic
I want to tell you, I might as well do, About a man that can do anything, He's from Croatia, His names Nikica, Jelavic Jelavic Jelavic
