ALLARDYCE COULD QUIT WEST HAM EARLY FOR SUNDERLAND

Sam Allardyce could quit West Ham United before the end of the season.

Allardyce is off contract in June and expected to move on.

However, the Mail on Sunday says the situation could come to a head sooner if Sunderland part ways with Gus Poyet, who was on West Ham’s radar last summer and could yet be a candidate.

Allardyce would be an obvious target for Sunderland if that job becomes vacant.

    I'd be happy with Sam.

I like his sarky comments to the media.

I think this is an extremely unethical story based on nothing. Produced by the Fail and spread across the net by useless ****ty little so called 'sport journos' from the likes of Triblal, clubcall and Sportsvibe and Sportsmole. Pathetic copy and paste losers. Nuff said.

It would end in tears. He will hoof the ball to Defoe and as such render him useless! Poyet will do a better job than Allardyce ever will

If we all had the same opinions, this site would be boring! I remember his time with us and somehow, he took us backwards!

We were on the verge of it in my opinion. We were playing terrible football and we got pumped by Wigan in his final match( it was only 1-0 but they really outplayed us massively) as well as atrocious football. I don't mind crap football being played if we win. Thing is, we were crap and losing! Keegan came in and recovered the situation before everything got really, really messy <laugh>

Hoofing the ball to Defoe would be an improvement to our supply to our strikeforce.

He's much better than you give him credit for. But of course not 'playing a certain way' (bullshit) meant you lot inevitably hounded him out.

I think the fact that you did'nt accept him from the moment he arrived did'nt help the situation.

If hoofball had worked, we would not have cared about the style. Don't believe the rubbish spouted by the media. The guy was clueless and he couldn't handle the job. I think the pressure of managing Sunderland will be too great for him too. He needs to stick to clubs like West Ham, Bolton and Blackburn as that really is his level.

The North East is a special place and it takes a certain character to succeed here. Real characters and personalities. For what it is worth, Paolo probably would have been a success for you. He had the right make up. He could have been your Keegan!

Through rose-tinted glasses maybe. I've got mates who are hammers through and through who, while happy to be where they are in the league, aren't happy at all about the type of football dished up every week. They won't be sad to see him go.

I don't seem to remember there being much of an outcry at the time he became our manager. From what I remember, there was optimism!
