Allan MacDonald passes away

    The former QPR and Northern Ireland International has died while playing gold today. This is frightening as he was only 48. I'm 43 this summer and it makes you think.

    I remember watching him playing at The Dell for QPR.

    Very sad.

    was before my time when he was playing so can't recall any games

    Took us to the 1986 World Cup finals, a great player for us and for his clubs.

    48 is no age for anyone to die, especially an ex footballer...

    Very sad i do remember him very well he was a very good central defender strong and uncompromising
