Fascinating how the polytrack courses differ: Apart from the course characteristics (eg sharper, flatter, left hand/right hand etc) even the surfaces differ:

"The polytrack surface at Kempton runs a little deeper than at Lingfield and so gives more “kickback” than the new Lingfield surface and is a little slower going, however since it rides quicker than the older polytrack at Wolverhampton, so sits between the other two polytrack courses."

Important stuff to know when equating form Ron and makes sense of it all. Makes sense of my earlier comment too that I didn't articulate particularly well.
Epsom has two gallops, one replicates Lingfields surface and the other replicates Kemptons!

How out of date is it Nass? Has anything materially changed?

Ah yes. I remember seeing that. No mention of Chelmsford City either

That place is worse than Southwell, I'd hate to run a horse at CC. The kickback is awful and it's a pace track. Yet it's polytrack like ling and Kempton

Anyone know what Newcastle are putting down?
