Okay we were poor today, Cisse was an idiot, and our next 2 games are against Arsenal and Man U, but there is still all to play for! Blackburn are right back in it, and the fact that Wigan have given themselves a life-life means they will still be fighting when they play Blackburn and Wolves. Keep believing, you Rsssssssssssssssssssssss

Good post, not over yet. Not by a long shot. Only an idiot would think that away to a very good sunderland side would be a handy 3Pts.

we are actually no worse off now than we were after 75mins of L'pool game, how many expected a win agains them. 3 points from this week is well within the scedule. Just have to take points in home games, and surprise sum1 big away. Only worry is who's going to score with Cisse out for a while, will Zamora be up to it?

Would love to feel your optimism but sadly I cant see it! Am trying to stay positive but it is so hard when so many players are failing to repay the fans loyalty.

Barton, SWP, Cisse to name a few have really let us down big time.

Good post Judo, I know where you are coming from but we all must stay positive until it is mathematically impossible

And the Lord said onto Swords place thy todger into the Kracken's mouth
And he did .... and thy Kracken's beak did break into small pieces
And the Lord was dismayed and put all his love into Wigan and we were dammed

I have done the predictor yet again and we still escape! That is by winning at home to Swansea and Stoke and drawing away to WBA. All others are losses. So, for me the season ends or continues on 11.4.12 unless we get freak points against the big chaps.

SB73, I know it's clutching at straws but the point is, it really is not quite over yet. Try the predictor yourself and let me know how you see it panning out.

Silly boy. Haven't you learnt yet that nothing is permanent? Gloat today and find yourself in the mire tomorrow!

Just indulging some black humour mate. I'm still in the ain't over til it's over camp, though today's performance was a shocker. Won't do the predictor though - my record in Roller's competition is so pathetic that any result would be meaningless.

ok SB, noted. We are all a but manic / depressive a the moment. Wednesday's jubilation turns to abject misery in a few days.
