I somehow missed you putting this up yesterday! I missed much of the 90s, I began to come in just as the likes of Steve Brown and Keith Ryan were finishing their career GK - Nikki Bull LB - Craig Woodman CB- Roger Johnson CB- Mike Williamson RB - Danny Senda LM - Sergio Torres CM - Tommy Doherty CM - Matt Bloomfield RM - Kevin Betsy ST - Tommy Mooney ST - Nathan Tyson Bench : Frank Fielding , Anthony Stewart, Sam Wood, Gareth Ainsworth, Scott McGliesh, Josh Scowen, Stuart Beavon Manager : probably John Gorman, the most entertaining football ive seen
That's difficult. It's tempting to go back a long way and say Len Worley. And we were widely recognised as having the best half back line in Amateur football. Good enough to cope readily with pro teams. I think it was Jeff truett (his brother Jim played in defence and was in hospital with a broken nose when I was in with appendicitis), Barry Darvill and Wicks. More recently I would have to consider Martin Taylor in goal. Of those mentioned, the following would definitely be in my squad: Jason Cousins Mike Williamson Steve Guppy Keith Ryan Nathan Tyson Glyn Creaser Steve Brown Tommy Mooney Sergio Torres Craig Woodman Haven't seen much if anything of the current squad
My 11 would be as follows: Martin Taylor Mickey Bell - though a traitor Jason Cousins Terry Evans Mike Williamson Steve Brown Tommy Doherty Steve Guppy Dave Carroll Keith Scott Simon Garner Subs would be: Roger Johnson Tommy Mooney Nathan Tyson Glyn Creaser Simon Stapleton Tom Heaton Darren Currie And of course M O'N as manager
