We had no coverage so the legends were just that for me. The papers just didn't do it justice. I am sure the impact of a lot of players has been magnified in my mind over the years because of that. I first started with knowledge of McStay, McGrain.... Then probably John Collins after that. I don't think my opinion of DiCanio has endured as well...., but he was a favourite back then. I can only say for certain Lubo and Henrik. Then Sutton who wasn't in those guys league for ability but was a proper footballer.
When this eases up there is room for a cult Celts poll too. There has been a few over the last 20 years.
