Mitre, we were all happy before you stuck your ignorant bias nose into our forum. What we would like to know is how you can put
Rangers and good-will into the one sentence. That is an oxymoron. What you forget is that Leeds and these clubs you mentioned had
all one thing in common with each other. They all were in financial difficulties because they had not enough money. The Rangers have not
only that problem but they have also broken so many rules of football that the whole football world are watching to see how they can get
out of the mess they are in. It appears too many reputations in Scottish Football are at risk, so better to just bin Rangers.

    Super,

Firstly, If i have taken away your happyness then I do apologise!

Secondly, people on this thread were asking about how Rangers could both liquidate and survive as hinted to by both the potential buyers and the administrators. So I have provided some reasoning on how it has been done in the past and how it will be possible for us. Its up to you guys if you want to look into what I am saying or just wait to burst into a rage when you hear it has been achieved.

Next point, all of the other clubs I have been discussing have all owed the tax man as the major creditor, so no difference with Rangers.

FInally, UK Law over rules the laws of the SPL, UK law determines that we keep our history. UK law will not be broken to punish a football club.

Only way you can get what you want is for Rangers to be denied a licence to play in the Scottish Leagues. Lets face it, that aint gonna happen.

Oh don't worry, the history will still exist, it just can't be added to.

He cant even convince his fellow rangers fans that they won't lose their history lol http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=216196. How do you explain a company starting in 2012 claiming to win the cup winners cup in 1972. Doesn't add up unless you use the mayan calender that predicts the end of the world in dec 2012. About the only way rangers can save face in this sorry mess.

    I spotted that too eric

If in doubt, just make **** up.

I expect you'll see that utter garbage replicated across a whole host of forums to get Billy steeled for the prospect of a newco. Banging on about Leeds, a club that never liquidated as some kind of equivalent is schoolboy ****.

This fireside lawyer extended himself too far.

There is no such thing as "UK Law", there is Scots Law and English Law so which "Law" are you talking about?

Ah I see, the "Liquidate and retain all your assets" Law? I forgot all about that one.

I often wonder why every company who has ever gone out of business does not use it to their benefit, Woolies must be kicking themselves.

He'll not be back. He's gone to another forum to tell them that just like Leeds, Rangers can keep going and a newco can take over their history.

If you could sell history, I have some wonderful memories of teenage love. She was lovely. I often think of her. My life has moved on now so I don't really need that bit of my history. I'll sell that history right now as an asset because I'm sure that one day I'll forget it.

The cola cubes from the pick n' mix are kept in a lockup at Heathrow. It has been a while so it is more like one giant cola cube now.

I am reluctant to sell now....even in jest. She worked in a chip shop and gave me extra chips.

Edit; The chips had aramat seasoning. Every time I smell it i think of that time.

Occasionally I get embroiled in arguments.

I have a a bad habit of treating them all with a degree of credence even if they are utterly mental. Even more so when a guy so clearly believes what he is writing.

I've seen Tax Experts by the bagful on TV and in the printed press, read lots of opinions offered up by expert legal minds and specialists in company law and not one of them has ventured this wholly speculative approach to liquidation.

So who to believe, literally dozens of people with a background in such matters or some random guy off the Internet who happens to support Rangers?

    It's a real toughie.

Why the **** would you want to keep that history anyway? Its ****e 1 european trophy and its the worst of the lot. Surely they can see the opportunity to remove those embarassing 4-0 defeats to juventus and every other doing they've took. Mind you I'll still remind them of there fans behaviour when they get gubbed.

There not called Scotland's shame for nothing.

"While England and Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland diverge in the more detailed rules of common law and equity, and while there are certain fields of legislative competence devolved in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and London, there are substantive fields of law which apply across the United Kingdom."

Pick on the semantics if you like. I know there are different leagal systems, but there are vast portions of the law which are common across the 3 legal systems. This is where this case falls due to the fact that there is very little difference between the insolvency laws of scotland and england.

Also, since you are so ken to point out that Leeds didnt liquidate, which of course their holding company did after they moved to a NewCo. The same process I am talking about.

Then feel free to figure out how Firentina did liquidate, stop trading for several months, born into a newco, relegated, played for a year under a new name, bought back their goodwill, then Uefa returned all of their history.

Have a wee look on the Uefa site.
