what we have to realize is that players have a natural instinct to do things in a certain way, they coached to do other things as an addition to what they feel comfortable with.
Lee Tomlin, has a lot of natural instinct and skill but is encouraged or coached to add to his repertoire.. he most likely feels he is a lynch pin, and rightly so. but instead of trying to feed just one player he should be getting a choice .. we play with one striker and the likely hood is we get stuffed by conceding first. We then know it is uphill to get 2 goals .... and in the aftermath this is difficult because we also leave the door open and the players who are attacking are needed to chase back also to defend.
Is Lee hyped up to be annoyed? I would say likely but not as bad as has been said.. frustrated
is the dressing room in dis array has Lee lost it, has Mathews thrown his toys out...well he plays regularly?

Lee is a very inexpierienced manager, he has patterns that have followed him from his 2 previous short encounters and hopefully he will get over them.
What of JP? HE HAS BEEN THE ASSISTANT COACH SINCE HIS SUPERB TURING AROUND before Lee arrived! had he not done as he did we would have been extremely close to, being a Lge 1 club again. will he give the pre match quotes this weekend?
what of Dean Holden, I bet Lee's contract has a clause to allow him to be terminated if results are poor with a compensation package to reflect or else SL is being naieve.. and lined up then he will have JP and or DH to fall back on???? !!!
Tammy and Wilbs both ends of their careers.. the gov on "stats and other advice" has decided that males can readily work to 67 and are thinking maybe 70 a better option in the future! So is Wilbs one of the few who are able to extend their playing career from mid 30's to 40 before they retire? what is plain he is a good influence on Tammy and still put it about!

HYPE... yes, but on unfounded grounds ... rumour mongering, ah yes that comes to mind...

we need to start our match's with a solid starting 3 up front...

    Tammy, Wilbs/Engval
    Tomlin
there is Reid and Freeman to fill in whether they start or just adjust if Tomlin is subbed.
to be honest I would like to see 3- 4 -1- 2 ! start on Sat...

Wilbs is in the twilight of his career.
We might get one more season out of him at this level if he's used sparingly, but I don't believe he would be capable of 46 league games.
We are apparently looking very hopefully at Hogan of Brentford, but he will only be a replacement for when Tammy leaves, we need another striker as well.
Engval needs to be thrust into the fray sooner rather than later assuming he's not injured.

Would Hogan be a threat in our team?, doubt if he would get the through balls he thrives on from our midfield, we would just lump balls up to him, however he looks a great striker but I'm sure he will get a better offer than ours

I'm sure he'll almost certainly get better offers than ours.
The one thing that I'd hoped had changed within the make up of the club (and our frankly shocking previous attempts at doing the right thing at the right time) was the newly found ability via Mark Ashton to attract a better class of player (i.e Tomlin, Tammy etc) which is fine during the Summer break. But getting decent players to join a team on a very poor run might be the biggest challenge.

An age old problem for teams on a poor run going in to the January transfer window because they can end up paying over the odds for average players. Despite trying to stay positive it irks me that we never seem to get our act together at the right time and end up making poor decisions which make the problems worse. A critical month coming up for us upon which our entire season will succeed or fail based on decisions made by the folks in charge, and given our previous convictions my confidence is at the lower end of the scale. Let's just hope sanity prevails this time.
